What a Golf Day!!

Golf day May 2015

The Red Lion Golf Society convened for its autumn meeting at Bletchingley Golf Club last Friday 2nd October. There were 48 eager players soaking up the sunshine on a lovely bright day. As the numbers have grown from our initial golf day of 24 players to 48 we secured a 2 tee start from the golf club. Each team of 4 went off at eight minute intervals. Following the golf the group made its way to the Red Lion for some food and refreshment and to conclude the day prizes were distributed. The society also made a donation to the Red Lions charity, SSAFA.

Here is a breakdown of the winners on the day:-

Longest Drive went to Ben Davidson
Nearest the pin winner was Terry Hinkley

The overall competition was won by Mark Fuller with a score of 37 Points. 2nd Place went to Greg Saunders with 35 and in 3rd Place was Simon Hawkins with 34 Points.
